7/25/2023 0 Comments Notelife lapotop![]() ![]() You have screwed this loyal customer for the last time. You don’t have to remember any formatting codes, like Markdown, to format notes. According to Jerry Halls, Vice President of Sales at Chronos, Notelife is a premium product that is easy-to-use. Seriously Chronos, do you have ANY faithful users left? After the Stickybrain mess they released a couple of years ago, I have left Chronos and ANY apps they make and am happily using DEVONthink Pro. Notelife is a premium note manager that uses iCloud to sync notes across all of a user’s devices. Nor do you have to have a degree in engineering to sync your notes between all of your devices. ![]() You dont have to remember any obscure formatting codes (like Markdown syntax) to format your notes. In fact, its designed for every day people. And now Chronos releases Notelife, which was what SOHO Notes was supposed to evolve to, but instead, THIS looks exactly like the inferior Stickybrain they tried to unload on us a couple of years ago. Notelife is a premium note manager that goes beyond the basics, but this doesnt mean its hard to use. Then a couple of years ago, Chronos releases a "new" app called Stickybrain, which was not very good, and had no compelling features over Apple's own Notes app. Then nothing for several years, and SOHO Notes stopped working with the newer OS's released by Apple. It started to languish, and in 2012, I received an email from Chronos saying that SOHO Notes wasn't dead, but was going to be re-released as Notelife in the near future. Then the next iteration was SOHO Notes, which, as of the last version released, was fantastic IMHO, and I used it to store thousands of notes, PDFs, and other files. Way back when Chronos released a so-so program called Stickybrain. So let me see if I get the order of events of the Chronos disaster correct. ![]()
